01. Warranty Period Guide

The product warranty period and component retention period comply with the "Consumer Protection Act" and adhere to the consumer dispute resolution standards.

Product Warranty Period

  • The warranty period refers to the period during which the manufacturer or seller guarantees free repairs for any quality, performance, or functional defects occurring under normal conditions.
  • The warranty period is calculated from the consumer's purchase date, verified through the product warranty certificate (including the purchase receipt).
  • For special contract sites, the defect warranty insurance policy period applies.
  • If the product warranty certificate (including the purchase receipt) is unavailable, the warranty period is determined by considering the manufacturing date minus three months (reflecting the distribution period).
  • The warranty period does not apply in the following cases:
    ① If the product is used in abnormal environments such as in vehicles or ships.
    ② If the product is used for non-household purposes.
    ③If the product is purchased second-hand and its warranty period has already expired, it is not covered, and the company is not liable for compensation if repairs are not possible.

02. Free & Paid Repair Services Guide

Free Repair Services

  • If a defect in quality, performance, or function occurs under normal use within the warranty period.
  • If the product was previously repaired free of charge (based on the repair date): 6-month free repair warranty (for the same issue/part).
  • If the product was previously repaired for a fee (based on the repair date): 12-month free repair warranty (for the same issue/part).

Paid Repair Services

  • Products whose free warranty period has expired.
Installation/Removal
  • Relocation due to moving, product reinstallation, or requests for external device connections.
Consumables
  • Expired or worn-out consumable parts (batteries, filters, lamps, handles, grates, etc.)
  • failures caused by unauthorized parts or options.
Customer Negligence
  • Failures due to user errors, failure to follow the usage manual
  • unauthorized repairs/modifications, dust buildup in the product, foreign object insertion, power issues (circuit breakers, outlets, power cords, etc.)
  • water/gas supply issues
  • external environmental issues
Other
  • Requests for product inspections unrelated to defects (e.g., filter cleaning).

03. Service Fee Guide

Service fees are determined based on the "Consumer Protection Act" regulations.
The service fees comprise material costs, call-out fees, and repair fees as follows:

Material Costs

Material Costs: The price of replacement parts during product repair (including 10% VAT).

Call-out Fees

Charged for onsite repair requests regardless of the repair service.
Call-out fee:22,000 KRW

Repair Fees

The technical service fee required based on repair complexity and time.

04. Consumer Dispute Resolution Standards (Fair Trade Commission Notice No. 2019-3)

Article 1 (Purpose)

This notice sets forth consumer dispute resolution standards based on the "Consumer Protection Act" to facilitate smooth dispute resolution between consumers and businesses by providing specific agreements or recommendations.

Article 2 (Filing a Claim)

If an agreement cannot be reached between the disputing parties, they may file a claim with relevant government agencies, municipal governments, the Korea Consumer Agency, or consumer organizations.

Article 3 (Product and Compensation Standards)

The scope of applicable products, resolution standards, warranty periods, and component retention periods are specified in the attached tables.

Supplementary Clause <No. 2019-3, April 3, 2019>

This notice shall take effect from the date of issuance.

● Appendix I. Dispute Resolution Criteria (Consumer Goods)

  • If the same defect has been repaired up to 2 times within the warranty period, or if several defects have been repaired up to 4 times, and the defect reoccurs, it will be considered irreparable.
  • Depreciation = (Service years / Useful life) × Purchase price
  • The depreciation method follows the straight-line method, and the useful life is calculated based on the monthly depreciation table in Appendix IV.
